I had to find subjects to take pictures of - so I headed to the zoo. I used the 70-200 f/2.8L IS hand held the entire day. My forearms are aching. The following are some of the resulting photos. The camera is truly incredible. I am still getting used to it - but it takes incredible pix. If you still think that film is better than digital or you are wondering what quality the digital pictures are - make sure you click on the first picture below (the flamingo or the turtle are also probably good options). The hi-res images will take forever on a dial-up - so in that case - if you want to see the detail - I have cropped out just the face of the chimp (basically 1/12th of the actual picture) and posted that - click here to see the face (its 67kb).
