There is so much to say and no way that you have the patience to read everything I have to say - so I will try to be brief.
First, I'll tell you that I started FingerPrint Web Design to fill a void. I could not find a firm that would build a unique, professional website for under $10,000. The irony was that the small and medium-sized businesses were being priced-out and these were the companies that could benefit the most from the power of the internet.
Second, you should know I love my work. I've never had a job I didn't love (ask me sometime about some of my past jobs), but I've never loved a job as much as this one. I get to spread my "creative-wings." If my business never made a dime, I'd be happy just creating new sites every day. So in a way, my clients take advantage of me. Some projects excite me so much that during the bidding process, I need to be careful not to offer to do the work for free.
Third, I hate sales. I've had jobs before that involved some sales and have always said "I will never work in sales." Well, technically, there is a "sales"-portion to this job, but not really. I finally discovered that sales is fine, in fact rewarding, if you know that you are helping someone.
There are many jobs that we will decline. If we don't feel that our solution will make your business better, we will tell you. If we think that your site requires expertise that we don't have, we'll try recommending someone who can do it better or cheaper. If your project will bore us, we might also turn you down. We want to have fun, be honest and fair to all of our clients. By turning away some jobs, we better focus our resources and pass on savings to our clients.
We think we are very good at what we do and know that you are very good at what you do. We let you focus on your business without having to worry about all of the little things that go along with having a website.
Our design philosophy can be summed up by the company name. A fingerprint is unique. A fingerprint makes an impression. A fingerprint is used to identify the person to whom it is atttached. Your business needs a unique website, that identifies the business and makes an impression.
Like I said, there is so much more to say, but for now lets move on. If you are still reading, you must have some interest or questions. Feel free to contact us by email or phone or just click here to fill out one of our feedback forms. There is obviously no obligation. If I can turn you down, you obviously can turn me down.
I look forward to hearing about your website needs,
Evan Malter, President
